This neat little trio is great addition to a mud figure collection, I like to use them in penjing arrangements or as display companions to mame bonsai.

This great old figure is a great companion as an bonsai accent or display with a group of trees representing a scene atop a mountain range.

These little modern mud men are about an inch and a half tall, I bought these for mame display, maybe even for a penjing tray planting.

This old green Island ficus has been growing in the concrete slab pot for a few years, it is representative of a single tree penjing.

I created this display piece by carving the original dais and sculpting the scholars rock using an air dryed clay product. The old mud man was added when the piece was dry.

This old cascade procumbens juniper was planted in a mexican pottery container, the rich turquoise glaze added an interesting  and seemingly natural element to the tree.

This Penjing trayscape has been around for awhile, I created it in 2005 using  two fukien tea and a schillings illex, it was recently replanted and is doing well.
